Chapter 149

• The road was long and silent, the Brown's house was on the outskirts of the state, we didn't make any stops since we would only delay the journey further. We drove in silence and at a moderate speed. We were entering through a huge gate and then drove a little further. There were trees lined up on the narrow path, quite large, covered in snow. It was beautiful. Further ahead, I could see a house... It actually looked like a mansion. It was enormous.
• I opened my eyes in amazement as Kayler stopped the car, causing Apolo to do the same. The other cars parked behind us. There were more cars already there and I could see movement in the house. I got out, followed by the others.
