I thought we had chosen a good place and I believed we would have a good time. That's what I was thinking, hoping that things would go as planned. However, if there was a margin of error, there was no need to worry because I was used to it, and things didn't always go exactly as planned.
• Upon entering, we sat at a corner table where the fan was blowing directly at us. She sat across from me and I felt a bit uncomfortable being in front of her. We hadn't even exchanged a single word yet. Maybe she was regretting coming here, that was the impression I got because she hadn't said a word since we arrived.
