Chapter 25

• I furrowed my brow, completely confused by what Will had told me, that can't be possible... or can it? Kayler is just like anyone else, Will only says this because maybe the medication is making him say things that aren't true, he's just delirious. After saying that, he put that thing back on to breathe and closed his eyes again, apparently the sedative they had given him was already taking effect, his hand was losing strength so I was able to let go.
• "Rest," I whispered, looking at him and debating what he had told me. I don't know whether to believe him or not. The most logical thing would be not to believe him, because Kayler's eyes couldn't have changed shape.
• I admit that sometimes I look at them very dark, more than usual, but it's only when he's angry, I never saw anything strange in them. Will got confused. Anyway, I have to talk to Kayler. I left the room and headed to Connor, who had his eyes on his phone, like sending a message or something.
