- "It's time to end this charade," he said, almost crouching down. He took his sword from the hilt, moved it from back to front in a swift motion, and his sword pierced my abdomen. "I think this is the end for today," he said, sheathing his sword at his waist, turning around, and walking away as if nothing had happened.
- "What the hell is wrong with you?" I asked, bleeding on the ground. "Kill me now and end this suffering," I pleaded, as the wounds he had inflicted on me were deep, and his sword felt like it had fire on its blade.
- "I have no obligation to kill you and offer you as a sacrifice. You are not an animal, and I don't have the courage to kill a man who can't even move," he stopped abruptly, looking back at me over his shoulder. "What you can do is live," he said, attempting to walk away again.
