Chapter 23

• I was somewhat worried, unsure of what would happen in the next few minutes, as we were nearing my old high school and it was almost noon. Anne was by my side, half asleep, while our classmates were excited to visit another school. The girls were only thinking about "I hope there are handsome boys." Bah. I know them all and... Well, yes, there are several handsome boys but they are all superficial and the typical playboys and popular guys. The bus that Kayler was on was ahead of ours, so I suppose they must have already arrived.
• God, I don't want to arrive.
• I hope Will got sick today and didn't make it to class. I hope. I looked out the window at the houses, the shops, the same ones I had once entered. I smiled to myself. However, I no longer feel like a part of this place, not anymore. Now I feel like I belong somewhere else, with someone else.
