Chapter 313
- KATRINA
- It had been over a week, and we were worried at home because James hadn't appeared, nor had he given any sign of life. Especially my parents were very concerned about him. We had searched for him everywhere, but couldn't find him. It was as if the earth had swallowed him up without leaving a trace. My sister had been crying for a long time. Usually, I saw her being depressed, reading books, or practicing yoga to control the anxiety and nervousness she felt. I think it was quite normal because we grew up with him. Despite the arguments we had on several occasions, the love between siblings always continued. Not even bad situations could break us apart. We loved James very much, but I also felt sorry for my family and how they were suffering because of him. I think it was a rather selfish act on his part to leave without even leaving a note. My father was a bit pensive, looking at the stars now in the night, just after we finished dinner.
- "Are you okay?" I really wanted to know his condition because lately I had seen him quite pensive, and I didn't like that. It was a sign that he was going through something, and the last thing I needed was more problems during this time.
