Chapter 310
- We arrived at the gate of my house. Everything was dark because we had arrived quite late, and I was crossing my fingers hoping my mom wasn't home yet. We entered slowly, I opened the front door and peeked into the corners of the house. It was completely empty and silent. I felt quite happy because I thought my mom still hadn't come home.
- ""Is there anyone there, Mother?" I asked into the void, the only thing heard being the echo bouncing off the walls of the house. Fortunately, my mother wasn't there, which I appreciated at that moment. "I don't think my mother is here," I said, looking her in the eyes. She looked back at me the same way, so I figured there was no problem. We were old enough to know that what we were doing was wrong, so we entered the house, turned on the lights in the living room, and I headed to the kitchen to turn on the stove. "I think it's a good idea to try to cook a bit since we're hungry. At least I feel a bit tired. All I wanted at that moment was a massage, which I knew no one would give me except myself. I didn't have the courage to ask Street for a massage. I thought it would be too reckless, and she might take it the wrong way, thinking I was taking advantage of the situation. But the truth was, I was honestly telling her I was quite exhausted. The week had been a bit hectic, and all I wanted was that. But since she was my guest, I had to do a few things to not leave her alone, and it would be rude if I didn't."
- ""By the way, where is your mom? I know she works and must be quite tired from the routine. Do you have any idea what time she might come?" I asked, trying to change the subject. "I don't know if the neighbors would look kindly on us being here, a couple of young people alone and locked in. You should open the door so that the light from the living room reflects outside, and people don't think anything bad between us."
