• I furrowed my brow at what Anne said. Is he Scott? Did Kayler and him know each other? Were they friends? Kayler was very smiley with the boy, they were like at some kind of barbecue, behind them I saw Kayler's group of friends and an older man, maybe Kayler's father. There was also a girl looking at Scott and Kayler with a furrowed brow. It seemed like she didn't like that they were friends.
• "Were Scott and Kayler friends?" I asked, standing up.
• "Yes, they were very good friends." She replied." Scott's mom must have forgotten about that photo." she commented.
