Chapter 81

• Shawn watched the footage in front of him. It showed Susan in the dead of the night talking with someone. The person’s back was to the camera, but Susan’s face was visibly shown. She said something to him, but they couldn’t hear; the video has no audio. Susan handed an envelope to the man, and he looked inside to see what was inside. After a short conversation, the man left, and Susan waited for some seconds before walking out of view.
• “What do you think it means?” Theo asked.
• Shawn was sitting on his chair, his elbow on the chair arm as he ran his finger on his lips. He looked concentrated, his attention on the screen, before he reached forward and replayed it. After the video finished playing, he stared at the screen for some long seconds before playing it again. “Although there is no sound, but from the background, you can tell it’s the palace, and a party is going on.”
