• When Leo got back to the East and Bloodstone pack, that was when it dawned on him that his sins had indeed been exposed. Everyone from the airport stared down at him, and when he got to his pack, even the omegas looked down on him. No matter how angry he felt, there was nothing he could do. With the Shadow soldiers constantly following him around, he knew they will not allow him to punish any pack member. He knew he was now a caricature of himself, as everyone knows that the only reason he was still holding onto his alpha position was for Alicia to challenge him to duel. Once that was over, whether he won or not, he will no longer be the alpha, and might even lose his life right after.
• Selina had not said a single word to him since leaving the council yesterday morning. Even right now as they were in the pack, she had refused to say a thing. Mary and Joy came out to meet them right outside their home, and when their eyes met the shadow soldiers behind them, it was like everything being said online became solidified for them. Leo’s downfall means the same for both them. • Leo said nothing and just walked past them into the house. Selina didn’t go in, rather, she turned around and left. The soldiers all stood in front of the house, while their eyes followed the leaving Selina. It was as if they had communicated in the mind-link because a second later, the only female soldier among them went after Selina. Joy and Mary witnessed this but they didn’t say anything, and instead, turned and went into the house.
