Chapter 131

• Alicia sat down in the booth for the royal family, her eyes were cold and her hands were shaking. Someone grabbing a hold of her hand and the warmth from their person passing to her woke her up from her thoughts. She glanced around to see Amelia smiling softly at her. Alicia heaved a long sigh to calm herself. Shawn had told her when Leo and Selina arrived in the North and it took all the strength in her not to run to the hotel they were staying and kill Leo. No matter the amount of pain she was feeling, she has to make sure that she followed things in the right way so that she wouldn’t put Shawn and Donald in a tight spot.
• The big doors opened and Leo and Selina entered. Alicia stiffened when her eyes landed on him. All she could think about was the recording of Dan, all the things Dan said, and the fact that Leo had a hand in hr family’s death and acted unaffected. Amelia’s hand tightened on hers, forcing her to calm down.
• “Don’t worry, you will get your justice, I promise you,” Amelia said. Donald had filled her in with the current situation yesterday. Inasmuch as she was still affected by his sudden attention towards her, when it came to Alicia, she didn’t bother to push Donald away and just listened to everything he had to say. Finding out that Alicia’s ex husband was an accomplice in her brothers deaths, she couldn’t believe it and couldn’t imagine the pain Alicia was going through. Now staring at the damned man, her eyes turned cold and before she could stop herself, she was contacting Donald in the mind link.
