Dante immediately rounded up his discussion with her before gesturing for me to keep moving. "You should have taken your time," I said. "I was just getting to know the little guy." He shot me a dirty look and I grinned widely at him in return. He was so close to losing his cool, I could tell. I'd been following him around while he surveyed the pack, my hands and legs cuffed like I was a prisoner.
