• I'd already informed the council and the pack a day before that Isabel and I were going to perform the mating ceremony today. I'd made the announcement a few minutes after Thorne and I, together with some of the warriors, had gotten back from infiltrating the caves in the woods. Sadly, the rogues had already fled the caves before we arrived. I was guessing someone must have tipped them off somehow.
