• He folded his arms across his chest, ignoring me. "How had you managed to take down that wolf even with no strength left in you." I brushed off the wave of disappointment that coursed through me. Well then. Show time was over. Nevermind that I was sure he could smell my arousal and knew I could very well see his dick bulging through his pants. I forced myself to immediately remember where I was and what position I was in. "You had practically been a zombie, with not even your wolf to help, as I know." All thanks to Jade, no doubt. "So how did you managed it?" I sighed, cutting my gaze from his and acting like I hadn't heard his question, staring into space.
