• It didn't matter that I was an Omega and therefore unfit by default to be Luna. Alphas were generally pressured to either find their fated mate or choose someone to mate with. Everyone knew an Alpha was his strongest when mated. Why did Dante seem to be so against the idea of having a mate? Something wasn't adding up. I eyed Louisa as she tidied up the ground with the broken items and spilled food from when I'd attacked him.
• I thought she'd wanted a conversation. Clearly the plan had been on just finding my name and getting the scoop. I bit down on my lower lip, watching her as she worked. "How long have you been working for Dante?" I heard myself asking. She paused for a second and almost immediately continued with her work.
