Chapter 149
- Isabel
- I stood up from the bench as Cora and I rounded up our discussion. Her sudden visit had startled me, but I was grateful the topic of discussion hadn't been as dire as I had feared. Iâd been worried something had happened, but all she'd wanted was my advice. She'd asked whether or not she should let her brother join the pack warriors like he wanted to and if she should keep waiting for her fated mate or finally choose someone and be chosen. For the most part, I'd told her that her brother deserved to know the weight of the decision, but ultimately, it was his choice to make and she should let it be that way.
- As for whether or not to carry on waiting for her fated mate, I reminded her that happiness was the most important thing. Whether she found it in a fated bond or by choosing someone herself, I would support her either way. She stood up with me, excitement dancing in her eyes. "Thanks Isabel," She said, hugging me tightly. I returned her hug, shooting her a small smile.
