Chapter 86 The Garden Talk
- Katty’s POV
- I didn’t know why I was feeling so brave today, but I couldn’t deny it. There was something about my mate’s touch and presence that made me bold. Every time his skin touched mine, the sparks of electricity surged through my body, leaving me warm with pleasure. They weren’t unbearable, but they made my heart race.
- I remembered a conversation from a weekend when we were all just relaxing together. The girls were talking about mates, fate, and the bond. I think I heard Nelly mention that she didn’t feel those sparks the first time she confronted her mate, probably because she was masked. But I was confused—Tom’s lion should have felt the bond, yet it didn’t seem like he did. They were so clearly attracted to each other, but neither of them acknowledged it. Nelly’s mate had thought the connection was just attraction, while Nelly had struggled with her feelings, not understanding why she was drawn to him. It seemed like they were both in denial, each believing the other didn’t feel the bond.
