• It’s been two weeks since school reopened, and I can’t stop wondering where Lucy is. I’ve been genuinely worried about her. I tried calling her phone, but it never goes through. Last week, I went to ask her roommate if she had any idea where Lucy might be, but she said she hadn’t heard from her either.
• “What happened between you two? Is everything okay? I heard you’re now an item with that slut Patricia. I knew from the beginning she was trouble, and I told Lucy to stay away from her—but she wouldn’t listen. If those rumors are true, I’ll be so disappointed in you, Kenneth. And you alone will be responsible if something happens to my best friend,” she snapped.
