• I can’t say everything has been perfect since I found out that backstabbing bitch Pat was trying to snatch my man, but Ken and I have been doing well. Who does she think she is? Some kind of universal queen we’re all supposed to bow to at her beck and call? She better remember she’s only a princess in her own kingdom—not here, not everywhere.
• I’m so glad I listened to Ken. If I hadn’t, I might’ve been swayed by her lies and ended up heartbroken. Even though I know my man is honorable and faithful, it hurt to think someone I considered a friend was capable of betrayal. But I trust him—completely. For the past two years, he has been nothing but angelic.
