• The following day, we went to the shrine of Goddess Selene. The place was breathtaking—adorned with sculptures and sacred symbols. Although Goddess Selene is mostly associated with werewolves, she’s our goddess too. Our history speaks of various gods and goddesses who helped grant us our supernatural gifts.
• Some myths suggest a battle between the Moon Goddess and the Sun God that resulted in the creation of the werelions. Others say the Moon Goddess is the origin of all were-creatures. Regardless, in all accounts, she remains the nurturing, loving Mother.
