Chapter 108 The Unexpected
- Lucy’s POV
- It’s been more than a month since we started hiding in Badosa, and every single day had brought something new — sometimes frightening, sometimes heart-warming, and sometimes simply unbelievable. But nothing had shocked me more than discovering that my witch sister was actually a lioness just like us. The revelation still felt surreal. Part of me was thrilled to know I wasn’t alone in blood or in species… yet another part of me was overwhelmed by everything her existence meant.
- That morning, I was out with Lance and Nelly, scouting the land as part of our usual routine. Badosa was a world unlike anything on Earth — breathtaking, magical, almost dreamlike. Flowers and plants grew here in colors that nature would never dare create: teal glowing like moonlit oceans, deep burgundy so rich it almost looked liquid, mauve so soft it seemed painted, tan mixed with shimmers of gold, sharp azure that dazzled the eye, rust-orange that pulsed faintly like embers, coral so bright it felt alive, and cyan that radiated softly under the sun.
