Chapter 46 The Second Challenge

• A week of rituals and rituals passed. I would hang out with Katty, and we got to know each other better. She was reserved but quite fun to be around once you got to know her. She taught me a few magic tricks, and I was grateful. I didn’t know anybody could learn it—I thought it was just for them.
• This whole process had been so tiring. I prayed that it would pass quickly. It was literally draining me, and the fact that I didn’t know what the next challenge would be about was so nerve-racking. It was just after breakfast on a Sunday morning, and I sat on my bed, hugging my legs, lost in thought.
