• “Please call the healer to the castle. Lucy fainted—she won’t wake up.”
• Kenneth’s voice carried through our link like a blade driven into my chest. His panic pulsed down the bond, thick and suffocating. I forced myself to steady my breathing, sending back warmth and reassurance through the link to try to calm him. If he lost control now, with Zeus pacing inside him like a caged storm, we could risk more than just chaos in the castle.
