• I didn’t know how to describe my emotions. They fluctuated between nervousness, fear of the unknown, and excitement. Yes, of course, I was a bit excited—in anticipation of getting the second challenge over with.
• Today was the first day the schools reopened. If I tell you I haven’t been thinking about Kenneth, I’d be lying. I miss him so much, but I do everything in my power to avoid thinking too much about him. I wonder how I’m going to look at him once we’re done here by next week.
