• Nelly was so thrilled to see me again that she didn’t even give me time to put down my bag. “Girl! You had me worried sick! I was starting to think the worst. People have been talking, you know, and I just didn’t know what to believe anymore. Where have you been? You look… different. Your aura—it’s changed so much!” she rattled off, her eyes scanning me as if she could read my story through my skin.
