Chapter 14 Eliza Lands the Female Lead Role

• Eliza let out a sneer without even looking at Reese’s smug expression. She turned around and walked to the venue of the press conference right away.
• When she walked past Cody, she suddenly paused.
• She touched his arm with the back of her hand, and the skin contact created a nameless chemistry between them.
• “Is there anything, Miss Walker?” Cody looked at her coldly.

• She didn’t even shoot Reese a glance since she only had eyes for Cody. After clapping her hands casually, she revealed a gentle smile. “I fixed it.”
• With that, she gave him a nod of greeting and walked to the venue of the press conference elegantly.
• She spoke in a perfectly normal tone without even addressing him, but one could feel the invisible tension flowing between the two of them.
