Chapter 70 Couple Rings

• Cody had always been generous to Eliza since he was never stingy with his money. When she visited Paris in the past, she had often thought about buying a ring for herself with his credit card. She therefore never expected that she would have the chance to wear a ring that was bought with his card. More importantly, it was a ring that he had personally chosen for her. All of a sudden, she felt her nose burning while her eyes started to tear up—it was like he was indirectly mocking her.

She had managed to contain her emotions, so she looked up with a sweet smile before she gave him an affectionate hug and a big kiss. “I love it. Why wouldn’t I love it? I love it so much.” Her acting skills were top notch and he was surprisingly pleased by it. He nodded and immediately paid the bill.
• The rings remained on Eliza’s fingers and she continued to wear the sleek bracelet on her wrist as well. Although she secretly wanted to remove them, she simply tightened her fist a little before she shoved her hands into her coat pocket.
