• Jenny knitted her brows into a frown. Florence quickly seized this opportunity to make a suggestion. “Why don’t you stay for the night, Jenny? They predicted a rainstorm tonight, so I don’t think this rain is going to stop anytime soon. It’s just too dangerous for you guys to drive home at night.”
• Jenny shifted her glance toward Cody to see him frown. He knew that his mother was indeed afraid of traveling around in the rain. He contemplated for a short while before he came to a decision. “We’ll have to trouble you for the night then.”
• “No worries! We’re one big family now anyway. I’ll get the maids to get your rooms prepared. We Oakleys may not have anything else, but we sure do have a lot of rooms.” Florence grinned happily. Cody simply lowered his head as a thankful gesture without saying anything more. Yvonne, on the other hand, was extremely pleased to hear that they were staying.
