Chapter 11 Groveling to Him

• “Mmm…” Eliza cried out angrily. “Mr. Brooks!”
• She had been thrown into the bathtub along with her clothes. The water—which was at the right temperature—kept churning; it submerged her until only her pretty face was above the water surface.
• Eliza’s skin was obscured by the mist. Her eyes flickered, and her long eyelashes flapped like a pair of fans. The bathroom was shrouded in mist, creating an amorous and yet seductive atmosphere.
• Cody stood towering over the bathtub while looking unspeakably cold with his thin lips pressed together.
• To Eliza, however, this man was overwhelmingly sexy. She stuck out her tongue unknowingly and licked her lips like a kitten. Her hair was wet; she didn’t wear makeup on her face, and her eyes were watery.
• Eliza thought that she could unconsciously let her imagination run wild whenever Cody stood in front of her. In reality, she never believed that she could be aroused to such a degree before she knew Cody. However, Cody’s presence changed her thoroughly. She was the one who couldn’t help taking the initiative to provoke him every single time, from the beginning until now.
• She had the most wilful and mischievous kind of thought, for she couldn’t resist the urge to seduce him until he found it difficult to run away from her. It was as if Eliza could prove that she had a place in Cody’s heart only by doing so.
• Ha… Eliza’s laugh had a hint of self-deprecation that was hidden very well. Whenever she was facing Cody, she would always put on a groveling smile.
• Cody’s Adam’s apple bobbed up and down, and his gaze darkened. Holding her chin with his large hand, he asked in a deep voice, “What are you doing?”
• “Hmm.” Eliza grinned mischievously. Her white shirt had been soaked thoroughly, revealing her sexy curves. She smiled at Cody mischievously before calling in a soft, sweet voice, “Mr. Brooks.”
• She slipped into the bathtub, dragging an unprepared Cody into the bathtub at that instant. Then, she wrapped her arms and legs around him like a snake. “What do you think I want to do, Mr. Brooks?” There was a note of smugness in her voice. Then, she raised her head and kissed the corner of Cody’s lips naughtily.
• Cody’s body became increasingly tense. His jaw tensed up, and his large hands clenched into fists without him realizing it. She moaned with much nonchalance while vividly assuming the look of someone who was aroused and absorbed in lovemaking.
• Cody could naturally see through that little trick of hers, but he didn’t blow her cover. Her deliberate seduction even made him a little impatient, though such emotions were enjoyable to a certain degree. He was like an emperor who was enjoying the pleasure of his concubine’s meek groveling.
• “Eliza.” His voice was chillingly deep.
• The temperature of the water in the bathtub was kept constant, whereas the bathroom wall, which was covered with tiles, was shrouded in mist. Water kept splashing out of the bathtub as it rippled.
• Eliza’s flirtatious moaning voice was sometimes loud and sometimes low. The mist slowly hid everything from view, including the wet clothes all over the floor and the mess in the room.
• Sinking her white teeth into her lower lip, Eliza regretted arousing him on her own initiative just like this. She should’ve known how vengeful he was, for he never showed compassion and care for women whenever he wreaked vengeance. She would have been able to bear his vengeance in the past, but the situation right now…
• As she wept aggrievedly like a little girl, the man above her head asked in a low voice that was frighteningly deep, “Are you afraid right now?”
• “Mr. Brooks, p-please don’t do this…” she pleaded before whimpering for another while. “Cody…”
• “You asked for it!” Cody’s gaze was as fierce and penetrating as a falcon’s.
• It wasn’t until the sky gradually darkened outside the window that Cody got up, left, and looked down at Eliza.
• Eliza gasped with a hint of coquetry in her voice, “Mr. Brooks, is this worth your giving me the female lead role of ‘The Keorin Palace’?”
