- It was evident that the atmosphere around them was rather tense. Though Cody’s expression was unchanging as he held Eliza’s hand, his eyes were fixed on George the whole time.
- “I’d have no problem performing the surgery ten years ago, but now that my age is catching up on me along with my health, I no longer frequent the OR like I used to. Even if I do visit, my role would most often be as a guiding mentor, not a surgeon.”
