Chapter 92 Never See Her Again

Serena sat on the bed with her hands clenched. The room was warm and painfully quiet, but all she could feel was the anger boiling in her chest. She had never felt this furious in her life, and it wasn't just Adriano. Her entire situation and life sucked. It was being stuck in this damn cottage with that smug, plastic-faced woman who clearly wanted to crawl into Adriano's lap every chance she got. Serena hated how Love was so dismissive of her and never acknowledged her. Love would openly and shamelessly flirt with Adriano without caring that Serena was right there.
And the worst part of everything was the fact that she was supposed to hate Adriano for everything he had done to her, but instead he was beginning to take up far more space in her thoughts than she was comfortable with. She wished the only reason he occupied her thoughts was because she hated him. But if she was being honest with herself, it wasn't that.
When the door creaked open, Serena spun around so quickly she nearly lost her balance. She had been expecting Adriano-maybe coming to tell her that he was leaving, or to explain himself. But it wasn't him.
