  • Sighing and sitting on her backpack full of clothes, Monica glanced at the window. It was already dark outside. She had to turn the lights on. Pulled deep into her thoughts, she had missed doing that. And now she was in obscurity, only the sunset from the windows peeking faint light in the room. She kept repeatedly folding and unfolding the small set of clothes she had with no idea how much time had actually passed. But it was obviously a lot.
  • When Monica stood up, the door slid open, and she held her breath. When two blue eyes met hers, she froze, her soul getting stuck in them. Like the only light in her room.
