- Monica frowned and blinked once. Strong light hit her eyelids, and she fluttered her eyes open.
- “Is frowning the first thing you do after you wake up?” Adam asked and removed his hands from the curtains he had pulled apart to let the sun enter the room.
- Monica stretched out and sat up. She had fallen asleep, and obviously, he hadn't moved her from his bed.
