  • Climbing back into her place, Monica glanced at the time on the dashboard and realized it had become eight pm. At least the clock was still working. She quietly shut her door and examined the man next to her. He was unconscious, but at least now his breathing was deep and strong. He was healing. What were they going to do now in the middle of nowhere, followed by other werewolves?
  • Glancing at A. again, she saw him stuttering and shuffling on his seat. His hands started shaking and flinching, and suddenly, they flew in the air as if he were trying to protect himself from something.
  • “N-no...!” he mumbled, his whole face sweaty and red, and a tortured expression ruled over his features.
