• The next few days passed in a blur. Monica and Adam almost didn't talk to each other, and when they were in the same room, he just ignored her and pretended she didn't exist.
• Amely and Adam spent most of the time, locked up in a room with Bella while Monica stayed aside, like she had no care in the world. Like she wasn't even connected to them. They didn't let her in.
• Now that she didn't even have a phone, life was extremely boring. No access to her friends, Connor, social media or funny memes. Monica was worried about what was happening to her patients too. She practically had no one to talk to or share her concerns with.
