Chapter 45

Monica started gently playing with his lips, occasionally getting her tongue in the game. Adam stood frozen for a few moments until he finally returned her touch and entangled his arms around her naked waist. He slightly lifted her up, her toes barely touching the wooden floor, and Monica clutched his tee, trying hard to maintain the close proximity between them.
When Adam's tongue started exploring her mouth, she let out a moan, and his hold onto her tightened. He removed his lips from hers and kissed the corner of her mouth, then her cheek, and her jaw. Her skin prickled, and when Monica bent her neck, letting him reach its crevice easier, Adam leaned over it and froze. His arms around her started trembling.
She opened her eyes and looked at him. A gasp escaped her lips when she saw his eyes were round and teary. Adam's expression was twisted into confusion, regret, pain. She had gone too far! He was not ready for this.
