• When someone opened the door, two people entered the room. The first person that appeared had sandy blond hair and a chivalrous face. He was handsome. And he was grinning at Monica.
• “Hey, it's nice to meet you! I'm Shawn, Helena's best friend and temporary Beta. At least until she leaves with the lycans.” He outstretched his hand toward her, and Monica stood up, feeling flattered by his gesture.
• “I'm Monica. I'm... a vet.” She put a lock of her red hair behind her ear.
