Chapter 14

• Adam
• Adam entered one of the bathrooms and locked it behind his back. He pulled his shirt over his head and tossed it on the ground, still not able to calm down. All he had been feeling during the last few months was just anger and pain. The heartbreak and the sting of betrayal and death had turned into hatred and enmity. He felt like he hated everything around him. The world was now different. There was nothing good in it, and even if he had random times when he tried to smile or show any different emotion, he knew it was all just a lie. His heart, his body, and whole being had darkened. They were now covered in bruises and scars that burned at his existence. There was no going back. His heart was dead. He wasn't the old merry Adam anymore.
