• Squealing and holding on the handle over the door... Yeah, that was the image of the whole way to the other town. Obviously, the trauma from that car crash had left its mark on Monica.
• After a few remarks and grunts from Adam's side, they managed to reach their target whole. Stepping on firm land nearly made her want to kneel down and kiss it, thanking the world she was still alive.
• But when she looked around, bile of horror struck her chest. The traces from corpses and dead werewolf bodies were all over the streets, filling them with blood and the smell of death.
