• I did not know why I was feeling so brave but I think my mate’s touch and presence just made me bold. I felt all those sparks of electricity surge through my body and make me so hot whenever I felt his touch. They were not unbearable but pleasurable. I remembered when we were just relaxed on a particular weekend with the girls and they mentioned everything about mates, fate and all. I think I heard Nelly say she felt that the day she confronted her mate but they didn’t get to feel the sparks from the first time because she was masked.
• I was confused as to why Tom’s lion didn’t feel the bond and sparks then because he wasn’t masked. I had also seen that they were awfully attracted to each other but they did not react to it simply because the other one thought it was just an attraction because if she was his human mate, he would have known since he first met her, while the other one simply did not feel a thing but only beat herself up for having feelings for him.
