• Thomas’ news was shocking but it wasn’t totally unheard of. I wondered how many supernaturals were roaming around us, masked, but we had no idea about them. As much as the discovery was infuriating, the prospects of Lucy being one of the masked lionesses or even witch or fairy or an Elf was also exciting. ‘What if what the healer said about her was true? Maybe she was supernatural and not a human? Again what if what I feel towards her is this Strong because she is my mate and I can't feel the bond because she is masked?’ I pondered over this, sitting in my room.
• This was one of the things I never got to share with the boys because it was just my speculation, I couldn't share what I didn't have proof of. I wondered if Nelly knew something about Lucy being supernatural or not. Or Maybe the healer didn’t see well? But then again, when I met her this time around, I tried smelling her to find out if there was any change in her but there was none. As a royal I somehow have a better sense of smell than anyone else and I should be able to sniff out something that is different.
