Chapter 69 He Apologized
- Lucy’s POV
- I kind of felt a bit jealous that my friend could laugh and joke about things with Kenneth. It felt like he was just a stranger to me these days and it hurt. We hardly even say anything to each other and I missed throwing myself into his arms and having him hug me tightly to himself. I so much longed for his body scent, it always soothed me.
- It hurt a bit because I knew that I would never be able to have that ever again, unless a miracle happened, or I couldn't bank on it. I didn’t want to stay around lest I started tearing up. I made a move to leave but he swiftly grabbed my hand. I wasn't surprised by his swiftness at all, after all he is a lion. I turned around to look at him. "What are you doing Kenneth?" I asked him, looking uninterested, yet inside I was happy that at least I felt his touch. "Can't I even touch you anymore?" He asked, his voice lasted with hurt.
