• "Yes Alpha?" We were walking back towards the Packhouse and he says, "We have your quarters available, you can choose from the two rooms at the corner here." And pointed to a room at the end of the Packhouse with a balcony on both sides. I think she'll like that. "And the room next to it is also available. There's one at the other end-" "We'll take the one on this end, I think she'll like the view from the balcony." I say decisively and he claps me on my back grinning, "You're a smart wolf!" I sigh irritated, "She asked me to spare him so his pup wouldn't be an orphan." He seems genuinely surprised, "Compassion.
