Chapter 80 D-day

I was required to stay behind and retake a French quiz, so I turned down Aria's invitation to prepare for the dance at her place on Friday. George was the only reason I failed the first time around. I hissed obscenities at him for the entire lesson because he wouldn't stop making passes at me until I ran out of time. Not much was remembered from the party by the jerk either.
My insides were tight from the excitement of seeing Tyrone in a tuxedo in precisely two hours. The whole school was agog over the dance, and I didn't have a class with him today. None of the typical clusters of shrieking girls in the halls because half the girls skipped their afternoon class to get ready. That being said, I could still not see Tyrone during the day. I even tried searching for him by frequently using the restroom to run into him between classes, but the man was nowhere to be found.
Who would have thought that there was such a thing as Tyrone Davis's withdrawal symptoms?
