Chapter 34 Twins

• I looked up at the bright orange sky and scowled at the mass of light pink clouds rushing away from the quickly darker sky. As we strolled in that direction, the town's skyline was peppered along the horizon, and we marveled at the magnificence of the blood-orange sun setting behind the three biggest skyscrapers in our town.
• I occasionally snuck looks at the thoughtful young man sitting next to me during the times when we had to shade our eyes from the sun's glare.
• After I had deftly insulted Tyrone, he remained silent, leaving him rooted to the porch as I stormed down the narrow cobblestone walk that finally led to the magnificent entrance of the Davis home. He trudged behind me after swallowing his pride, pouting that I had hurt his bad-boy ego, but I knew he would survive to see another day.
