Chapter 27 Gravesite Visit
- "How's it down there?" I asked my Dad.
- I sat down and crossed my legs over my favorite piece of grass right in front of my father, bringing my head closer to the gravestone. The wind spoke softly in my ear, scattering crisp brown leaves on my lap.
- I was tracing designs on the rocky ground right in front of the gravestone when I glanced up at the sky, acknowledging the overcast skies for a moment before returning my focus to my father. I cleared my throat and started, almost feeling the weight of his molten gold eyes.
