- I took a deep breath and slowly moved forward, separating myself from the wall. Too shell-shocked by Tyrone's words, I found it difficult to keep my equilibrium and stand.
- Was I reminding him of Taylor? It was illogical. Her hair was bright blonde, while mine was brunette. My hair was curly and thick, and it frizzed out easily in humid weather, but hers was dead straight and finer than a spider's web.
