Chapter 75 Wake Up
- Through a gap in the curtain, a stream of sunlight entered my face, warming me thoroughly and turning everything orange behind my lids. I twisted about in my rock-hard pillow, squirming, and found, to my amazement, that it was toasting me from head to toe with a delectable warmth.
- I was no longer blinded by the glaring sun and instead concentrated on the throbbing kicks that caused pain behind my head as if someone had struck it with a piñata. When I could muster the strength to get out of bed and show up for breakfast, I resolved to ask Mom to use this soap detergent more frequently.
