Chapter 92

• The last thing I expected to see was none other than my mate and Xavier having it out in the front foyer while the maids and other workers were forced to halt their work, some of them screaming and yelling in panic as furniture and even the chandelier were broken from their fight. I gave a low growl of exasperation and quickly entered the fray, putting myself between them and wondering what on earth either of them had been thinking.
• “What the fuck do you think you are doing?” I growled.
• Xavier had the sense to shift back into his human form and then pointed quickly at my mate as he stood there, his eyes slowly returning back to normal, my mate’s fangs vanishing rapidly, until Cody stood there, looking remarkably human again.
