Chapter 76

• I adjust my dress for the hundredth time, feeling inexplicably nervous. I try to pull up the zipper but without success. I turn to Cody who is straightening his jacket and attempting to do his tie. I sigh. “Cody could you please assist me?” I nod at the back of my dress which is gaping wide open, trying not to blush as the look of arousal in his eyes as he follows my line of sight.
• He stalks over and quietly begins to pull it up, kissing me on the nape of my neck, his eyes raking over my form.
• “You look gorgeous” he murmured.
